We're excited to continue with our aim to release quality music from all-over the world via our new imprint 'Good Job, Dog Knights!' So far, we've had Crywank (UK/Canada), Michael Cera Palin (USA), Quite Quiet (Singapore), and now we have a release for Shanghai Qiutian from China on the way.
GJDK004 is a limited vinyl reissue of 'New Era, Shared Future' from indie-emo/math-rock hybrid 'Shanghai Qiutian', featuring all six tracks from the EP on side A, three bonus remixes on side B, complete with revised artwork and an A3 fold-out poster-style insert.
I first became aware of Shanghai Qiutian when a 'new release from 'Chinese Football' appeared on Spotify in the Summer of 2019. It turned out that Xu Bo was a guest on the track 'Shanghai: Another Day to Find What I Want'. I loved the song and played the EP A LOT whilst packing orders that Summer. So, i'd like to introduce new listeners of the band to check out the very same song first before making the full release public.
I hope you enjoy this first taster, more reveals coming soon!
